Introducing the Cedar Oasis, a beautifully crafted custom sauna retreat in Portland’s St. John’s neighborhood. Designed and built in the summer of 2024, this outdoor wellness space was tailored to match the client’s vision, combining functionality with rustic elegance.

The centerpiece of the Cedar Oasis is the spacious cedar sauna, featuring an all clear vertical grain Western Red Cedar interior and exterior. This modern interior comfortably seats 6-8 people on “floating” benches, designed with two seating level options. The heart of this sauna features a robust 10kW heater from Tylo complete with Wi-Fi control options, the sauna is ready whenever you need it.

The experience doesn’t stop there. After a good sweat in the sauna, just around the corner is a private area to cool down. Rinse off under an overhead rain shower before taking an invigorating dip in the custom 150 gallon cold plunge to round out a full hydrotherapy experience. The Cedar Oasis features a deck level, 8 person salt water hot tub for soothing soaks. The expansive front deck ties it all together, offering a perfect spot to cool off, connect with nature, or enjoy time with friends and family.
